Indian Wells Country Club is a private member only course that allows some outside guests based on availability. Playing golf at Indian Wells Country Club is more than just playing a beautiful, challenging, "classic" style lay-out. It is playing a course filled with a storied history, a tradition of excellence and prestige. Walking our fairways, is a far greater feeling than just playing golf. All the natural elements of the desert flow together making Indian Wells Country Club a true "classic." In 1956, over a casual dinner at Ruby's Dunes Restaurant in Palm Springs, the concept of Indian Wells Country Club was first discussed. Within a week 50 acres were purchased at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains. The original founders, including Desi Arnaz, envisioned a nine-hole private country club surrounded by houses for Members to use as second homes. Today, Indian Wells Country Club boasts 36-challenging holes of golf which wind their way through the picturesque mountains making it absolutely effortless to experience golf at its best
