In 1956, over a casual dinner at Ruby's Dunes Restaurant in Palm Springs, the concept of Indian Wells Country Club was first discussed. Within a week 50 acres were purchased at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains. The original founders, including Desi Arnaz, envisioned a nine-hole private country club surrounded by houses for Members to use as second homes. Today, Indian Wells Country Club boasts 36-challenging holes of golf which wind their way through the picturesque mountains making it absolutely effortless to experience golf at its best
